Happy October!

Well, it has been 25 days since I blogged. We have been very busy this month.

On the 17th, I chaperoned Autum's school field trip to the Science Spectrum and we got to see "Pharaoh's and Mummies". The kids had a fun time and even though we had 5 first grade classes I still enjoyed myself, even w/ that many children.

Also, on the 17th we went to Emily and Autum's fall festival and had sooo much fun. I really enjoy taking the kids to the school functions and watching them have a great time. They all played a lot of games and had fun winning candy. I think we have enough candy in our house to last us till next year. But, as the kids know, "mom" always ends up throwing it out after awhile because I don't like the kids eating too many sweets.

Then, on the 24th I chaperoned Nate and Macaela's 4k field trip. We went to the Corn Maize and enjoyed seeing the animals, taking a hay ride and getting to pick out pumpkins for each kid. It was in the 30's in the morning so we were nervous it was going to be too cold, however, luckily it warmed up and the wind died down so we all were able to have fun w/ out freezing. It ended up being a beautiful fall day.
